Tameside Archives (POSTPONED), Ashton under Lyne, ‘Creative Non-Fiction: Born from your Family History’ – Weds 18th March – FREE workshop – just yards away from where a young Robert Reschid – soon to be Mayor of Stalybridge – started work at the age of 10! Designed to inspire those who have interesting stories in their own family history and who think that they might work well in a ‘work of fiction’. We’ll use the book ‘Imagining Robert’ as an example of how we can go about this. Please book your place by calling the Archives 0161 342 4242 (not open Mon, Fri, Sun) ALL WELCOME and a terrific chance to get immersed in one of the best northern archival collections in the country.
